Coolpad in collaboration with TecPhlie has organized a seminar on career planning on 7th April in Management Auditorium, GBU. Seminar start from 2:45 p.m. with the arrival of chief speaker Mr. Syed Tajuddin.
Mr. Syed Tajuddin,CEO of upcoming tech company Coolpad India Pvt. Limited, prior to working with Coolpad, he worked with Rado and Tissot Watches in the Middle East. Syed has studied Master in Business Administration with marketing as a specialisation in 2000 from Osmania University and also holds a bachelor’s degree in science (B.Sc.) 1997 and Education (B.Ed.) 1998.

Students welcome Mr. Syed with huge round of applause. Seminar was based on “Communication System in Modern Time.” He also discussed about upcoming technologies like: VoLTE, VoWiFi, VR(Virtual Reality), Device with Flexible Screen etc.

He also guided students about their career planning in Tech Industry and said we should do Multi-tasking, this is the only way to succeed. He boosted the morale of students by saying “we should do multiple task, if out of 10 we succeed in 5 this will increase over self confidence, if we do just fine in 2 tasks this will improve our knowledge, and if we fail in 3 this will let us know our shortcomings.”
He further said we should have knowledge of all technologies, if we want to make our future in tech world. It is not necessary that we have 100% knowledge of all technology but we should have some basic idea.

With the end of seminar, interactive session started, where students ask their doubt from Mr. Syed. He solved students doubt regarding corporate world, career, technical faults in devices, starting business etc. very calmly and wittingly.
When asked further about Coolpad, he revealed some features of upcoming smartphone of Coolpad, saying we will be able to install same app 2 times in single device. Means we will be able to run 2 Whatsapp, simultaneously. He also informed that his company Coolpad is following footsteps of Apple and Samsung, as till now Coolpad have maximum patents on its name, i.e. 6000 patents. He also claimed that soon Coolpad will take communication system to next level.
At the end of interactive session prizes were distributed to winners who were actively involved on Coolpad Forum. He also advised in place of social media, we should spend some time on forums of our interest as it will help in improving our resume.

At the end of event Dr. Vinay Litoria thanks him by giving a memento. Mr. Syed then said he liked the University and quoted one of the statement of Dr. Litoria that “Students should be such, that companies are compelled to recruit students from that campus, we shouldn’t call companies for placement.”

The event turnout to be success, as around 250 students were present there to interact with Mr. Syed. But, number of registered students were very less as only 101 entries were received by TecPhlie, which is far too low.
So, students should make sure that they should not miss this type of golden opportunities, which gives glimpse of corporate world and also help in career development.
